Ella, the second youngest Delatou sister, has buried herself into work after her breakup.
Never one to make himself stick-out, Liam- the rugged, lumberjack looking vintar, has been doing his best to keep Ella company while harbouring a secret crush on her for years.

When Liam talks to her about his upcoming road trip back to his hometown in Oregon for his brother's wedding, Ella decides that this might be the perfect chance to escape the pitying glances of the Apple Blossom Bay locals and free herself from her family's overprotective monitoring since her split.
While hesitantly agreeing to allow Ella to tag-along for the ride, deep down he hopes that this journey might make Ella consider the possibility of them becoming more than friends.

Ella was undoubtedly my favorite character in the 'Love on the Vine' series. She was always unapologetically herself and, even with four other sisters, she managed to shine. If you've followed the series, you'll know that Ella was trapped in a horrible relationship that aimed to isolate her from her family and diminish her self-worth.

Amanda masterfully revived Ella with an invigorating journey that was both transformational and empowering. The two weeks that she spent on the road exploring new places with Liam, provided Ella the strength to rediscover her own identity and ability to choose for herself. While Ella didn't need a man to provide her with that realization, Liam was a great match for her. He provided her with unwavering support, encouraging her to take the world on as she saw fit, allowing her the motivation to bloom, something her ex had done a great job of snuffing out. Liam, dealing with his own set of personal challenges, was able to find solace in Ella's presence, as he too carried the emotional baggage of a past relationship that was marred by infidelity.

The character dynamics that Amanda created between Ella and Liam were so beautiful and complementary, reflecting on their strengths and weaknesses.

Just like Liam, you could feel just how perfect they were for each other and you couldn't help but kick your feet at the electric charge that they emitted. In every spicy scene, the passion and steadfast love they developed was palpable, with each glance and touch conveying a deep understanding and affection that grew stronger with every moment together. Their close proximity during their journey across various states, was filled with moments of vulnerability and trust, allowing their relationship to flourish into something truly special in such a short amount of time.
