The end of 2023 was meant to be an easy transition into 2024. However, some challenges happened that threw everything off course.
On Christmas Eve, my boyfriend suddenly fell gravely ill, prompting a rush to urgent care that quickly escalated into a harrowing trip to the Emergency Room, followed by an unexpected overnight hospital stay. Once that chaos seemed to settle, I was contacted for a remarkable opportunity - spearheading the launch of a new venue in my city. Initially intended as a part-time gig, this venture soon consumed my time, causing me to inadvertently neglect my primary full-time job.
As I navigated through these unexpected challenges, I found myself struggling to find the balance between caring for my boyfriend, managing two jobs, and staying on top of my other commitments. It was a whirlwind of emotions and responsibilities.
Balancing my time became a challenge, making it difficult to fulfill my promise of posting reviews for two exceptional authors based on their timeline.
