Tis the season for quick, easy, and cheesy romance novels.

While this wasn't a life changing read, if you're like me and enjoys the holiday season just because of the new (yet recycled) Hallmark movies, then this book is for you.

Quinn is a single mom barley making ends meet, when in a twist of fate, she ends up scratching a car next to her that ends up being her high school sweetheart who left her heartbroken.

If that couldn't be the worst of her day, her house ended up catching on fire and is now left with a 5 year old, less than $100 in her bank account, and Christmas coming quicker than you can name off all of Santa's reindeer. Of course, this wouldn't be the total fluff book if Collin didn't come to her rescue, rekindling the would be romance of the one that got away.

Honestly, the fact that Hallmark hasn't tried to turn this short tale into a full fledge holiday film, is completely mind blowing.

If you're looking to read something that will warm your heart, be as predictable as all heck, but still tug at your heartstrings making you less Grinch-y for the holiday, then I recommend this one to you. Plus did I mention that it is a super quick read?
